Xflak! You're still around and kicking? :D
We have been in talks again about working on a project together for one of the current gen consoles. I dont want to announce anything yet if we decide to pass on it. But i can say to expect to see him coming back around again.

You got me intrigued. If it's anything a like of modmii, it will be fucking fantastic!

People need to eat and survive.

A Döner Kebab menu is all I paid to get my Wii repaired back in the day. :D

Regardless I don't think 50 bucks is too much to ask as long as the job is well done and there's a guarantee that if in the process of hacking the console something goes brutaly wrong, there's some form of reimbursement.

I will probably rely on your or @vb_encryption_vb service as well if there's no trustworthy "shop" in europe by the time the modchips get released.

Not quite sure I understand the disdain for this thread. There is a confirmed solder version of Team Xecuter's Switch modchip so these services will be needed in the future. $30-$50 is a great price compared to other places even though it doesn't include return shipping. The thread was a bit preemptive sure but now that we have a bit more information the thread should be fine in terms of the rules for now. The mods may ask you to move the thread to the trading forum once you actually start doing the installs. (I'm sure you're aware of that however. Keeps it cleaner, allows for feedback to be given in the feedback section, etc.)

Despite there being a solderless version I'll still be going the soldered route. I've had enough headaches with the E3 NOR clip and that was in a stationary console.

Thanks for everything else that you said, first off.

Secondly, I agree about those clips. They are untrustworthy and will likely cause more headaches in the future. I never bothered using anything like that, but that is because I know better. And knowing the way TX makes their PCBs, even the solder version will end up be quite simple and great, not a mess of wires, so it will be much more solid.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I once had the opportunity to purchase a JTAG machine off off him where he soldered in a swappable NAND seating.
I wish I took the offer.
Hey man, if you have a 360 that you want me to do this for, I can arrange something with you. Shipping to Antarctica might be expensive. XD

I'll deffo keep this in mind!

Don't forget to put your signature on the console I send.
It'll make it truly one of a kind!

Europe I recommend @gamesquest1

Thanks though!

man, all the newer members attacking you in here. I guess a lot of the old guard have been forgotten or have left. Kinda sad to see the site shift.

Yeah man, I've made a handful of useful automation scrips over years in my spare time. Nothing really related to console mods but all run on Windows. Check it out here if you're interested. But you have mostly @DeadlyFoez to thank for me trolling the 'temp forums again, lol. Hell I was just on the phone with him for near an hour just earlier today, so I'm happy that he and I have never not once lost touch since meeting on gbatemp.

I never thought I'd ever see the day, Xflak and Foez active together on Temp again!
You make us sound like Batman and Robin! Who's down for a good old fashioned flame war? just kidding

sorry OP for hijacking your thread... actually, no, no I'm not sorry, lol!!

Just always admired you two.

And somehow, Foez admires me, I think I'm fine with that ;p
