I come from China, I want to design a switch controller for players.
I would like to know what your requirements are, thank you.

At the same time, I am also a player myself.

people who live in EU have bigger hands and we love to use Xbox360/x1 size controller;
Use replaceable AA battery instead those built-in ones;
Make controller's USB port able to trasmit datas, in case when it ran out of battery, it can still continue to play using cable.
Make controller's shield replaceable, so we can buy skins to customize out controller.

Not made in China would be a good start.
that's very racist, man. Don't want to do with ''Made in China''?? Probably ur apple phone, notebook even all nextgen consoles are made in said country.

My most prominent question is why?

if you had an idea in mind maybe go for that, but there's so many out there already, why not just use one of those?
He is intending to develop and sell a controller

He most likely has some connection to a factory already

Thats racism bro
why? i have both x360 ps3 controllers for years, x360/x1 is my most favourite one. dualshock 4 compared to 3 is significantly bigger, so?

Not sure if you're trolling, but just in case

There are certain shortcomings in the products currently on the market. I want to make a product that really belongs to the players.

My suggestions

- Based on the Switch Pro Controller
- An octagogate surrounding the control stick
- 3.5mm headphone jack, just like the PS4 controllers
- HD rumble, indistinguishable from first party controllers
- Motion controls, indistinguishable from first party controllers
- Wired and wireless options, have a 3 meter long USB cable for the wired option
- Built to last
- Quality over price, I will only buy this controller if it is better than Nintendo's own controllers, I will use it to play every game so it has to be excellent quality

Gamecube shell but with the internals of the pro controller. I'd buy at least two. must have all the pro controller funtions.

- An octagon surrounding the control stick, I'm not sure what the technical term for this is
Octagate : )

I agree with the including an audio jack over wire, and wireless. Durable Analog sticks, These are in short supply in Controllers, if your controller is good, and good sourced analog sticks you've hit a gold mine.

Octagate isn't neccesary, but It's close to a need.

Pretty much everything the official pro controller has, and what I added up on top ^

A cool perk would be computer supported without too much hassle.

Something perfect for me would be joycon replacements with a real grip, and good analogs.
Update-able controller firmware that is open source or where users could write their own.
Must work through Bluetooth and physical connectors.
Must show up as joycons in the switch.
Must work in joycon only games like mario party.
Must not be connected to each other through wires.
Would look like a xbox/ps4 split in half essentially.

Can ignore nfc and the ir camera.
Can ignore using them sideways.

Bonus points:
making them customize-able,
ability to spoof it as a pro controller,
can connect together with an adapter like the joycons,
release 3d model of shell.
I would pay over joycon price for these.

xbox 360 or xbox 1 style and shaped controller with
headphone phone jack
AA battery instead of built in like x360
and pretty much all that a pro controller has like motion and stuff like that
try to make it cheap without it feeling cheap

Everyone seems to prefer custom, can be made modular, detachable shell

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I want to ask an additional question. Do you like to use a large screwdriver to disassemble the joycon or to be smaller?

You should specify the situation that requires controller to be disassembled. Repair-wise or modding purposes?
Also, please make magnetic-based analogs, just like earlier DS3 contains, they're unbreakable.
