Take calculus however you have an 80% chance of failure if you aren't good at math. You also need to learn some programing languages.

you actually need to learn all the ins and outs of C++ before you start programming...

once after that and you have some experience you can move onto C# and XNA

I started to make simple games with Gamemaker 5 (currently its 7)
It contains both visual and normal programming (with its own GML)
GML looks a bit like C, but its not completely the same
They are going to switch to C with version 8

I would say it is best if you just try some pc games which give you the option to make maps and mods and try some stuff. This will give you a good idea how video games are made. While you're doing this you should also take a look at C++.

Maybe 3D design works out for you too? Try programs like Maya and 3DS Max.

I once made a few maps for Vietcong with 3DS Max and after that you can place all the items in it with their map editor.

But I want to make DS games (no not with DS Game maker, I don't want to buy something)
so I heard you have to make it with C++ but on the tutorials I find it's only programming for PC ect
so how to program DS games with C++ ??

Edit: maybe I must look for books in the library. But I think In the netherlands you doesn't find
many books about C++ DS programming

Edit2: I downloading now Visual C++ and gonna try an palib Tutorial maybe It'll work

C++ is (pretty much) the same on all platforms, so if you want to program for the DS, you should learn the basics on the PC and then learn the specifics on the DS. Since DS-specific libraries cover most of the differences, the only differences you'll have to keep in mind when switching to the DS are address mapping and the power constraints of the hardware itself (little RAM, slow CPU, etc. etc.).
