    Hi.
Can some one help me to edit header of akmenu4.nds (acekard firmware)
There is a two lines of text with www.acekard.com and I want to put my text.
I tried NDS Header Tool but it doesn't see it.

    Regards.

Huh why would you want to put something on the header of acekard menu?
Trying to impress your dumbass friends? or trying to evade someone from learning too much?
    Just curious...

Don't know much about the AceKard, at all.

You could possibly try and hex edit it or edit the .ini file (if there is one).

Other than that I doubt that there's much you can do.

All that is in the header is the offset to the titles (there should be repeats for many languages, probably in unicode.) If I recall correctly, it is this one:
    http://nocash.emubase.de/gbatek.htm#dscartridgeheader
    Code:
    068hÂÂÂÂ4ÂÂÂÂ Icon_title_offset (0=None) (8000h and up)
By the way, the .nds file that is on your SD card isn't going to be what is going to show up in the DS's main menu. That header/data is usually either permanent or in a area that is not normally rewritten on most cards (and may not be modifiable, as a DS wouldn't boot the slot1 if it was modified incorrectly.) The akmenu4.nds's I just looked at don't seem to have titles/icons in them.

Well, I saw it on Youtube (not sure what card was that) and I tried to do it.
Lot of people don't know about headers, so it would amaze them [IMG]

BTW. I tried Hex and there is no such string in the file.
So is it build in rom of the card??
    Just curious...

Its on a rom chip which isnt rewritable iirc, so there is no way to change it unless you unsolder the rom chip and put a rewritable one in.

Where are you seeing this "www.acekard.com"?
I suspect it is just a part of the skin you are using, which you can easily edit with photoshop.
