i have a xperia j, that i need to replace the power\volume buttons (the contacts appear to work fine)
i tried to search on ebay but no luck, i just wanted the part i need

do someone know a good place to get phone parts?

i did go to a local repair shop, they want 15 euros for it.. it's nonsence, just open the phone put a plastic piece close and done, it doesn't require any skills
i opened the phone and removed the buttons, it was super easy to do..
for 15 i can get the same phone in a better shape than this one...

found a listing for one with a broken screen for 7.5€ i could get it, but my problem is, i just want 1 plastic piece, but i don't want to end up buying a broken phone to either shove it somewere in my house (it is already full of stuff) or end up putting the phone on the trash... this is so frustrating...

Welcome to electronics fixing, actually fixing anything. Most places will price such that it is still more desirable to fix it than scrap it and get a new one, but not necessarily anywhere near what the creation of the replacement will cost.

Hopefully 3d printing at the consumer end continues to improve. Speaking of 3d printing you could try https://www.3dhubs.com/ I guess. In the meantime guess you are paying 7.50€.

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
