Today i have played a little bit (1hour i guess)
and my new pc ran extremely hot...

i have now managed to cool him down... but the problem was that it needed to cool about 10 minutes... or more... and i ve turned on my fans to 100%

it s a ryzen 1700x chip and a cooler kraken x52...

and i often reach 70 degree... and more :(

any ideas what i have done wrong?

i ve got a mini itx rig and nothing overclocked ... i have also applyed firmalpaste and stuff...

my fans are turned away from the radiator...

pls help me :(

Is it a new computer?
Have you made sure to set the cooler right and firmly?
How good is the airflow?
How many fans are there and in what positions?
Have you done cable management to maximize air flow?
How packed is the case? (if it's a mini, it won't get any good airflow to begin with but it could be improvable, so post a pic of how the inside looks)
Have you installed all drivers correctly and set up the fans manually from both the BIOS and whatever control program came with the cooler/motherboard?
How many RPMs does the cooler reach at 100% speed?
How heavy load was placed on the CPU during the overheat? (eg: full load, idle, etc.)
What PSU are you using? (total Wattage, spare Wattage and efficiency)

Answer these for starters so it will be simpler to find the cause. Normal temperatures should be at around 55C at full load for mini cases.

first thing I would check is if your cooler and CPU are actually making contact, and if so to check if the pump on the AIO is working. You never know you could have gotten a DOA unit. Try using another cooler if you have one just to test

check the nzxt cam software, you want to look at the pump rpm's and such
the x42/x52/x62 have a really high failure rate even if you just bought it, shame because they look so nice too

i ve checked everythibg and found out that i have gotten the wrong standoffs....

i ve put the am4 ones in my case and boom..
the temperature is fluctuating but ... its rare that i hit more than 60 degree.. now while playing bioshock or wolfenstein...
but cam software tells me that i ve hit 70 degree max...
should i trust it?
it s really fluctuating . i mean it jumps 1 degree a second ... and it goes back the othertime...
