I just bought an Acekard 2. First time buying one of these devices.

How do I put the games inside my SD card? The package only came with the DS look-alike cart, but there are no cables or anything.

so wait, did your cart come with an sd card or not? either way you'll need an adapter to connect the sd card to the computer. then, after installing firmware, it's just drag an drop anywhere

Yeah, the adaptor is what I'm asking about. Shouldn't these things come with one or do I have to buy it separately?

A friend of mine once bought an R4 and I believe it came with the adaptor thingie.

Also, assuming my friend still has it, are they compatible? Maybe I could buy it off him.

They tend to die easily anyways, an adapter bought in a US store is much better.

last time i checked best buy and futureshop all their card readers came straight out of China

so i wouldn't know about that.

i have a 0.99$ MicroSD reader i bought off dealextreme, it's three years old and still functions without a problem. I don't see any parts that can break or wear out on it, the PCB layout is exremly simple, and as long as the chip doesn't burn out, i don't see why it would ever stop functioning.

Also, the flashcard you bought came without a memory card. why would you expect a reader to come along with it?
I bought plenty of flash cards, and the only cards that came with a reader were the ones that came with memory included.

Also when you buy a memory card there is usually an adaptor that comes along with the card. Then you can plug them into any computer that has a built in reader. And most computers these days do.
