Hacking I have successfully downgraded about 40 o3ds/n3ds. Here's what I do:

I'm going to buy a n3dsxl Friday. How safe is it to downgrade to 9.2? And if it's on lower than 10.3, how do I upgrade? Or is it too late?

Really? I know it freezes a lot after choosing to downgrade, but didn't realize it would still happen once the process started. Good to know.

Which is my point... why use sysupdater twice... that's two chances of bricking.

3) If the user is in the firmware 10.1 or lower, I update to 10.3 first and then downgrade to 9.2, using the same version of Sysupdater, provided in the guide here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/simple-guide-to-downgrading-your-3ds.407888/. Why should we do this? Because Memchunkhax2 runs most stable in 10.2 NATIVE_FIRM.

Question: for updating to 10.3 can I use the fire emblem cart that just came out? I am pretty sure it has 10.3 and it would be a very safe way to upgrade to 10.3 correct?
