I've reached a new plateau for my weight, about 3 months ago. For the longest time i was stuck at 220. If i was sick i'd drop to around 210, but no matter my diet or exercise (yes, i tried both) i'd hover around 220. When i got really ill, i was down to 200 for a while.
But now, i've reached 230 as my plateau. I hit almost 240 and dropped 10 (stopped drinking sweetened tea, now i'm on unsweetened, and it's helped) but, again, i'm at a stopping point.
Three interesting points: I've been eating a LOT healthier and snacking a lot less. (note the Tea thing, and the food angle has come along with that.)
I've been exercising a lot more (not as a regiment, but now i have a kid. I carry him everywhere, go on a 1.5 mile walk with Wife® & WildToo a couple of times a week etc etc).
And i've been told, by a few people now... if i've been losing weight. But alas, the scale still reads 230.
Wife® said that "muscle weighs more than fat" which is true, but that's such a cop-out of an excuse for me...
It's not a huge thing for me though... i mean, it's in the back of my head, but it's not life changing
(i suppose it IS there enough for me to post about it
)
Buuuut yea.
Oh, and i'm 6'3/6'4 so, yes, i'm overweight, but not painfully so. I can still clearly see m'dong
