I know I sound like a noob here...

But for the life of me i cannot figure out how to setup my EZ-Flash Vi.

Erm, more info? Which DS are you using? If it is a DSi, what is its firmware? Have you got access to a DSl/DS so you can flash your EZVi with new firmware? What happens when you try and boot the cart?

It is a DS lite.

Essentially as I recall you just need to download the contents of the kernel file and stick it on the root of your SD card and you're good to go: http://ezflash.sosuke.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=16737

But it's been so long, and I have a horrible memory. I don't remember struggling with it like I did with my slot-2 SuperCard Lite, though.

I recently did a firmware update, and there's info for it here: http://ezflash.sosuke.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=13991

That won't be necessary to get things up and running for you, but it will greatly improve compatibility.

By what Mbmax told me some time ago (if memory serves correctly), you need these two downloads:

And then just run the firmware update...I suppose you could try this stuff at your own risk (I don't have my EZVi yet, so I haven't done it myself).
