I mean for me it sounds like a common sense move on Sony's part. The PS2 was the best selling console of ALL TIME. Why not make a handheld that can handle ports of those games?

I know, which is why it handles ports of'em just fine, and with improved visuals too.

Same with the 3DS handling ports of the Gamecube, Nintendo's best selling console of ALL-- wait...

Which makes my pee place go small. I loved my PSP cause i could play PSP and PS1 games, i was hoping the PSV would be the same with PS2 games...

It is confirmed that the PS Vita will run PS3 games first with Gaikai. But Gaikai's release date for the vita follows the PS4 Gaikai one.
BUT imagine Last of Us and GTA V on the Vita!!!

Ive just joined the Vita club as well. Like others, didnt bother buying a new one. Bought one off Ebay. Paid £141 for a Wifi Vita that came with assassins creed 3, a 32GB Memory card, an 8GB memory card and an unused 10 mega game voucher thing which in effect gave me little big planet, Wipeout 2048 and a few others for free as well. Ive already bought Everybodys Golf from PSN for £6.99 which is amazing value for a really good golf game and my card now has Uncharted, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Hustle Kings, Gravity Rush and Sina Mora from the instant game collection.

Im trying to hunt down Persona 4 myself on the cheap to see what all the fuss is about and am interested in Soul Sacrifice, Dragons Crown and a few other games off the PSN store as well. Happy so far!

Soul Sacrifice offers so much to do it's just ridiculous. I've been playing it for ages and I JUST discovered the free DLC. I still probably have tens of hours left to play thanks to that DLC and the unfinished stuff I already had to do.
Definitely my favorite vita game by far. For the price, it just offers so, so much.

bought one not too long ago brand new i love it but seems to lag a bit with assasins creed but with killzone mercenarys its fucking awesome!!!!!
