Well I am getting rid Safari so I wanted to try Opera(yes I have Fire Fox) So I did download it and opened the exe file. After it opened it extracted all the files etc. but after I press the I agree button for the license a Error report appears! So I did try it again and again the same! So tried to fill in another pad to the program files but again the error report appeared! So how can I get it work?

I am using an old pc with Windows XP and well the error report I cannot copy the info about it!

What do I want to reach: I want to install Opera(and some other (programs)without ANY error

Edit: Meh it happens to some other programs too!?

Any chance of giving us the error messageNah its kinda hard to copie THE F *cKING LONG ERROR report... it might hold a clue to what the problem could be

Shall give it a try! here is a file that should be send to Microsoft(WARNING WAL OF TEXT!)

update:

Windows Installer:

Appname: msiexec.exe
modver: 3.1.4001.5521
appver: 4.5.6001.22159
Offset:00036935
ModName: MSIHND.dll

Extra info!

Edit CRAP DOUBLE POST!

Actually I was referring to the typical dialog error message you get up

Something like 'The MSIEXEC.EXE file is linked to a missing export MSI.DLL:222. ' or something similar
(perhaps something like
  • "The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed"
"Windows Installer Service couldn’t be started"
"Could not start the Windows Installer service on Local Computer. Error 5: Access is denied."
The info you've supplied is really only Info of the files that were tried when attempting to install (sorry for not making myself clear on that...)

It's possible you may have a coflict with Microsfot Installer so I could suggest you follow the guideline on MS help & Support
