I started 3D printing and created some design through OpenSCAD. I haven't used CAD (equivalent to CAD) since the mid 80's. The coding is similar but different to other programming I have done. I NEVER used ChatGPT before and thought I try to have it script the code for me. WOW, it was a game changer. It was doing more than I wanted it to do (good thing). I started my 3rd project and noticed something was wrong with ChatGPT. It lost all memory of the formula I created. I asked what is the value of M and N and it did not know. I got freaked that I wasted all those hours. ChatGPT told me to create a 'Memory Master File Set'. I did as it asked and 2 weeks later I am in a loop. Soon as I restore the memory, and ready to move forward, it's data degradation already started. No matter how I do the Master Memory files set, it still asks 20 questions that is already answered in the Master Memory File Set. I had it create its own, and still same issues. The reason I did not have this issue until now, all info was on the scad file. This project was giving ChatGPT all the formulas and design info to start the CAD design. Would having the formulas as notes in the header of the scad file help?
After that frustrating story (sorry if it seems like a rant), What can I do to minimize the memory restore?
