I YOLO'd today as well and updated to 5.5.1, since people claimed there was a stability update for XCX (seems to be NA only, because i didn't get a patch on my EU version) and i ordered Splatoon which i would like to play online with full content.

Now i'm hoping that hykems exploit whenever it surfaces, leads to a fast emunand because i sure as hell don't want Nintendo to rub a non-exploitable firmware in my face by the time Pokkén and TP HD are released. (I plan to buy both, so whoever wants to point his dirty finger into the direction of the fancy looking parrot on my shoulder, back into the closet!)

Concerning the upcoming exploit: There's actually only one thing I would like to have: Gamepad support in vWii. I would like like to play some of the emulators on the tablet screen.

When the IOSU exploit is out you probably won't need vWii gamepad support anymore to play emulators. Just wait then ;P

She wasn't saying that. She said she'd like to use it as a counterpart, as a feature of an emulator. She didn't say it was a requirement.

I won't add anything to the OP that I can't confirm myself (in terms of status/release date/etc.). I don't have any way to confirm Hykem actually said those version were ready to go or not, and I don't want to give false hopes in case one of those versions doesn't end up being compatible (for some reason, though I don't see why they wouldn't).

Agree. And there's already been way to much "I just talked to Hykem and he said....."

If he really wanted to say something, he'd just come here and say it, or Twitter, etc.
