I'm also excited to see what becomes of this. Take your time Hykem, and thanks for your efforts.

What is the likelihood of this exploit allowing us to change the music in Xenoblade X to the original games soundtrack because this current one is not so great I feel unfourtunately =[

When did Hykem said he would release it in 1 week?
He just said that 1 week or 2 were more reasonable dates because releasing it on Christmas would be just impossible, but he didn't promise that the exploit will come on this or the next week, just that were reasonable dates, don't get hyped, it's not an easy task, maybe he can have problems with something like loading it on 5.4.0/5.5.0 or something like that.

Remember, this is not something easy, we are talking about breaking the security of a big company like Nintendo that have people working making really hard on their security, the things that Hykem is doing that should be impossible. Is something way too challenging if you ask me, I sometimes feel that some people don't get how hard this kind of things actually are, I could wait until May for this and be happy anyway.

I did not know this! how is this possible? please
You have the game inside your SD Card for Loadiine, right?
You can edit stuff on your PC, just how they put files of the PC Version of Shovel Knight on an update of the same game for Wii U and it worked just fine (without sound, but you get the idea).

I think that nobody really tried that, but I guess that is possible that it works just fine if you change some sound files with others of the same duration, maybe you could need to edit them so they have similar sizes but probably not.

I mean, I doubt they synchronized the BGM to be exactly one length then loop. You can probably replace it with any music length and it would play and loop just fine. It just watches for end of files then loops it again I'm sure.

I remember that with Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros Brawl the music should't be longer than the original and their frequency needed to be the same, and if you put a lot of songs longer for example in Mario Kart Wii the SFX Sounds would get fucked up in MKWii and also the voices of the characters and SFX Sounds on Brawl, so I don't really know if it's that easy, who knows? Maybe they changed how the audio works in Wii U games and now it's less cryptic.

@Online Maybe you can read how change sounds for Wii and GameCube games, Nintendo always used brsar files for their audio in pretty much any game since the GC Release, I don't know if the Wii U still uses it or not through.
