New member, however I have read a lot of threads here and learnt a lot. I am however having some difficultly with GC memory card backups and would like to avoid trial and error if someone knows how to resolve.
To get started, I have a modded wii, original GC memory card, and play games via USB loader gx, using memcard emulation (on)
I have created a .raw file (entire backup) using GCMM and also downloaded Dolphin on PC as I read somewhere I may need thememory card manager?
I tried using the .raw file from GCMM in a variety or ways; transferred entire file to HDD save folder, renamed file as a single GC ID, used Dolphin to transfer/copy file with no success.
If possible, I would like the .raw file from the GC memory card to replace the individual usbgx save files (for select games) and be in the GCID.raw format. I.e I have rogue squardern 2 and soul caliber 2 saves on GC mem card and want those individual save files on the hdd save folder
