Are you sure it was an emunand and not a nand backup using gateway launcher ?

Mount your sd on your pc an check the partition size on it.
if it is 1Gb you do not have emunand.

Here is the guide I used, I create GATEWAYNAND and used that to install devmanager

You are lucky, i have the same configuration as you.

So follow the 2 step on this thread : palantine (no dual nand)
it's what i did and all work fine.

Sorry for double post, but will this make all the present cia on the card go away?

no I still have all the cia previously intalled on palantine. Just copy the content of your sd oon your PC to be sure.

Shit, I forgot that I formatted my sysnand and now I can't boot in the CFW anymore....Will the switch method still work or I'll have to redo everything from scratch again :/

Yes, but no luck in booting to cfw ( Maybe both NAnd should be identical otherwise it won't boot), so should I start from scratch again? And which method would you suggest if I start from scratch?

If you still have your rednand and DevMenu on your sdcard then it should works.

It booted into CFW but it created new system information on the SD card because of different sysnand and rednand....I'll try the steps you said and then run rxtools and see.

If you don't have devmenu anymore, then you have to reinstall it first.

i had the palantine dual cfw with rxtools updated to the latest firmware rxe9.8 when i try this method
3. If you have a dual nand Palantine/rxTools :
- Use this tool to backup your cfw rednand (extract nand 2)
- Backup your sd card content
- Do a format emunand with gateway launcher.dat.
- Reinject your redand as an emunand (inject emunand 1)
- Update your emunand with rxTools
everything updates back to 9.8 and cias and legit cias work perfrectly only problem when i goto the mii plaza it wont update it stays on the old version
when i click on it at first error code 009-8401 to go into data management - 3ds - downloadable content to delete update. now do i go to this setting in rx e mode or system mode to delete it?

So here's my situation, I downgraded back to 4.5 in order to install DevMenu and then upgrade back to 9.2 and use RxTools. PBT CFW launches perfectly even though the 3DS freezes when I open the Browser to check whether my 3DS is connected to the Internet. Anyways when I run run.bat from Palantine's CFW, it returns a command of CTRClient failed to connect. I've formatted my SD card and put all my CFW files back again. I've deleted the dbs folder a bunch of times and created a fresh one along with title.db and yes I ran the Data Management for it to create the files and all that stuff, but I am still unable to send the DevMenu over. I tried with BigBlueMenu as well and edited the run.bat and still the problem continues. Does anyone know what is happening and why it keeps failing?

Yes go to the data management menu in rxmode.

Did you modify the run.bat file to set up your 3DS IP address ?

Yup, put the correct IP and I made sure of it twice.

Yup CFW launched perfectly. That wasn't the issue.

If I have Palantine and it has BigBlueMenu, and I take the whole rednand with all my CIAs and BigBlueMenu, and I move it over to emuNAND, will I still have BigBlueMenu? Or will I have to do something to keep it on there and have it working with rxTools after transferring it from rednand to emuNAND?

Just follow the step 2 on this thread you will have all your CIA and BBM on your emunand.

now the other problem is i dont have bbm or dev menu appear as present were i have to open them like i did on 2 others 1 3ds exact same model and a 3dsxl?
