How to split NSP's for FAT32

I will make this tutorial better and cleaner, but I have been seeing a lot of people ask this question, and decided to make this quick tutorial in the meantime.

Place both files into a folder, then just simply drag and drop the nsp onto the dividensp.bat. make sure that the nsp itself is not in the same folder, you can drag it from anywhere. Then, just simply copy and paste the folder it made into tinfoil/nsp. Last thing, make sure that the archive tag is on for the .nsp folder. If it's not, tinfoil won't recognize/install correctly.

Seriously? The PS1 file is from the SDK and all it does is stupidly splitting a file to 4GB (give or take) parts?

Give it like 2 days for an legal implementation...

This is great!
dOPUS will actually show those folders as files and install them perfectly. No need for exFAT anymore.
And it also works to install XCI!!
Edit: more work to do to support split XCIs as they can extract NCAs > 4GB. It's doable though. Need to check if i can flag folders as archives directly on the switch.

I heard about XCI to NSP.. Some games doesn't work. I don't need to worry about that. I have a plenty of an original NSP and an original XCI of the same games just in case. :P

For XCI Splitter, I will see about it. Many thanks.

No worries. As far as I can tell XCI splitting works quite well if you have SX OS, except for CARD2 games there will be no icons shown.

Okay.. What another one that can be use either NSP nor XCI ? or only an XCI files? I want to know and thats all.
We only have XCI loading for SX OS, the other firmware are NSP only and for that there is only this python script to split (and my tool, but I have not tested it)

Well, you can install .XCI files using ZeroTwoXCI which shares the same amount of risk as installing EmuNAND. And its relatively easy to obtain the keys required to use the tool if you're using shchmue's fork of kezplez.
