Homebrew Discussion XCI-Cutter Multiplatform (OSX/Linux/Windows)

Hi,
Starting from XCI-Cutter for windows , I decided to port the project to Qt/c++, to use on MacOS / Linux. At the moment this is an ALFA version, with only the cut function available (all the sanity checks implemented and no mod to original image).

I'm quite busy for work at the moment, so if you have c++ / Qt skill and free time, feel free to work on it .

The project is open source and you will find it at github / DDAAXX / XCI-Cutter-Qt (I cannot add hyperlink)

If you want to try, I’ve just put a pre release for MacOS to test.
At the moment I improved the cut function and it’s working well.

I need to pack library together with the executable, I had no time last week to do it

If you download the xcicutter.app.zip from the release area, you have directly the app.

Cool, I was just looking for something like that

But on topic; a standalone Linux xci-cutter clone would still be cool, @ddaaxx , and I suppose many Mac folks would agree as well.

The app opens now I didn't test yet if it functions as my xcis are elsewhere.
