You're updating to 5.03? Did you name that folder Update? (as in X:\PSP\Game\Update\eboot.PBP)

Yes, I did. It's exactly like that.

What I'm trying now is to remove all the other folders inside the GAME folder but that one, and see if it makes a difference...

Edit: Nope. Still "Corrupted Data."

Hmm...it worked for me...maybe its case sensitive? As in make a folder within the GAME folder titled "UPDATE" as opposed to "Update" And then put the file in?

Odd.... The file deleted itself somehow? I certainly didn't delete it. Perhaps when I reset it to factory settings it did that, though it shouldn't have...

Regardless, I transferred it back (the UPDATE folder still existed, but the EBOOT.PBP didn't) and it's not acting corrupted.... But now it's not letting me update till the battery's charged, despite being connected to the power cord...

I'll update when I can on its success or failure.

Now THAT's not working. I tried both when first booting the file, later in the update's menu, and when trying to update at the error screen...

I'll just wait I guess. It's no big deal.

Dependent upon your starting firmware and PSP version it may also be Left and Right Shoulder buttons together instead of Left and Triangle.

Updated, blah blah blah, now ChickHEN won't work. It crashes the PSP, but doesn't reboot or install anything... I've tried over 10 times now...

Keep trying....i never got it working after 50 tries. (was interested when it got first released and had to flash a friends PSP so thought why not give it a go)

i'm sure this has been mentioned before but reportedly mhuspeed(ChickHEN alternative) is faster and has a higher success rate, it worked with me too

Regular Chickhen only has a 1k version, and it's painful to run on a Fat.

Just wanted to say, I got it running by putting the ChickHEN eggsploit.tiff file in a folder INSIDE the "PHOTO" folder. To anyone else having issues.

Meh, everytime I launch the XGEN D3-2 updater, it says loading updater and then shuts the psp off... I have a PSP1000.

Hi guys, I have a psp phat with offical firmware 3.95

everytime I try and load cfw on I get the error 80020148

Now I searched about and to fix this you need to go into the recovery menu, but to do that you need to have the recovery menu installed which I don't because I havn't got the cfw installed hence the problem

now I can't use pandoras battery because the hack needs to be done today, the only thing I can think of is updating to ofw 4.00 and trying to load cfw again, or is that a bad idea?

It would be great if someone could reply soon because I'm trying to get this done for a friend by today =(

the guide says 5.03 and below, so I was assuming it would work on any firmware, so if I update to 5.03 and then load cfw that should work?
