Hacking How To Remove CFW From a Previously "Unbanned" system?

I am trying to remove all CFW from my N3DS XL as a twitch streamer wants to use my capture card but without the CFW. I am following the guide on the 3ds.hacks page here however I seem to have two .app files both with .firm files within them that are 976kb


Trying to boot both of these files for the safety check(not sure which is needed) seems to l softlock/freeze GM9. I assume this is because of me unbanning this system back when sun/moon came out.

Is there any other way that I can remove CFW from this system?

The only solution that I could think of is to choose one of the files and delete the other one or move it to a safe place. Though, that could be quite risky. I don't know of any way that CFW could be uninstalled orther than 3ds.hacks.guide.
Did you notice that the next step has you make a copy of the file? Is there a possibility you did so already?

You're not going to be able to remove it. What you did to unban the console changes system stuff in a way so that it can never boot again without cfw.
