Ok, then now reboot once more, press ALT+F1, login with root/notforall and run ifconfig
if now only eth0 and lo is present and no wlan0, then also run one by one
ls /proc/bus/usb
lshw | grep USB

homepass.png This is what i got in return. wlan0 did not appear.

You can google for "MT6701 Debian", maybe you will be lucky to get a ready driver or you will find an easy guide to make the driver by yourself.
Wish I had the capabilities to do that thought, its fine :x btw ~ I am curious , can I do the VMware method with an OSX?

hello, i'm pretty new here, so i'm a big noob haha.
anyways i have a problem that i don't know how to fix right now.
What I did was start cmd and activate nzone.exe start BASE256 and waited for the MACs to change. However, when I went to status > details, every two minutes the MAC (physical) address stayed the same. How can I make the addresses shift?

I tried to run maccheck with admin privlges. (I'm running a Atheros network driver btw) The results ended up saying that my computer could switch mac addresses. After I opened up cmd and started to type in the commands to start nintendo zone, i got the blue screen of death.

so i have two problems:
1. mac addresses won't switch periodically
2. i get the bsod after trying to turn on nzone after running maccheck.

can somebody please help me? I would really appreciate it.

pollybg Your Atheros-based driver is affected with BSOD bug while mac spoofing the hosted network. for you it is recommended to use VMware version of the homepass.

Hi,
I wonder if anyone faced my problems,
I followed the native windows option, using the wifi card in my laptop (Artheros)
My problem is when I run nzone.exe, it won't create the file nzone.macs , the rest for me works fine, maybe can someone send me that file?
PS: My 2DS can detect the nintendo zone but i checked my mac address it didn't change, maybe because miss of the mac folder.

Screenshot please!

Well, here it is.
I posted my procedure here too in case anything wrong with my procedure.
(I have placed all the files under C drive and run cmd in admin)
(I tried without 2nd step, but the virtual network wont start)
1.C:\>nzone.exe start BASE16
2:C:\>netsh wlan start hostednetwork
3. Go to network adapter and shared the internet to NintendoConsole3DS
4.My 2DS nintendo zone detected and connected
5.By using ipconfig/all, noticed that actually my MACs didnt changed.
