For the small majority of you that were getting a black screen in ultra moon and did not install the preload to their system like I did. Check your console firmware. If it is on older firmware(I was on 9.2) than the game will result in a black screen.
Updating your console on B9S shouldn't cause any issues and will allow you to play the game like normal!
