I BELIEVE so... if you get an error you probably have to uninstall the previous version first. Get a backup tho
Yup just tried installing the 4.x mset cia, gets an error. I just gotta look for the title ID that matches the one from the cia right? MSET is always MSET no matter what version it is I assume, so I guess I can also find the title ID from here: http://3dbrew.org/wiki/Title_list

I thought it would work since with Gateway, if you use Devmen 2.x it would work by simply installing the cia. Guess it's different with FBI. I wonder if I could install Devmen 2x cia in Rxtools Devmode. I'm gonna try FBI first, Im sure it would work.

Edit: @OctopusRift It turns out that I never even set the mode to NAND when trying to install the MSET 4.x cia. How can I ever forget!
So I ended up uninstalling the MSET from NAND, then installing the 4.x MSET. This itself worked and I can now use rxinstaller.nds to enable offline access to rxtools.

Oh and we tried using the Rxtools MSET DG file, it said success but the DS profile exploit didn't work. So the only real way is to use the 4.x MSET cia.

would be way better for menu options
  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
although I have huge doubts anyone would be able to make homebrew that would give support for the touch screen
