Hacking How to downgrade Sysnand's settings to an exploitable version!

1. Download rxTools: rxtools.net
2. Unpack the zip and open the "tools" folder.
3. Double click the msetdg.exe
4. Select your region
5. Copy the msetdg.bin to your sd root
6. Boot rxTools and go to other options, downgrade MSeT.
7. ???
8. Profit!

Do you know what title CIA I would need to get from 3DNUS so I can get the newer setting back? I need to sign into my NNID.

For some reason I can't get the title from 3DNUS I found it BTW thank you for the reply though.

My security blocked 3DNUS connection but I got it and my settings are back the CIA needed is 0004001000021000 v8203 to fix the settings on 9.0.0-20

If you're already on 4.5, there won't be any need to downgrade Mset right? It's already exploitable.

The information of this MSET downgrading isn't documented very clearly in Roxas's changelog nor inside his zip file. So it really made me wonder if he managed to port over Gateway's N3DS exploit to the O3DS.

I don't see the intereset for O3DS users.

We can boot to 9.8 Emunand (which can launch every games, retail or CIA) from 4.5 firmware using the MSET exploit.
Why bother with a 9.2 firmware with downgraded settings? It's way easier to downgrade the whole system and unlink sysnand from emunand and you're done.

Well, for one, if you've installed those "legit" cias to your O3DS, you will now be able to launch the pokemon games from within sysnand without booting into emunand mode. Also, if you move a game cart from your N3DS back to your O3DS to play, you won't get corrupted save game problems.

Hmmmm just tried it but I guess is to downgrade your mset only just like the readme said.
