Can anybody tell me, what are the differences between a korean wii disc/game and other wii discs?
How can I detect a korean wii disc?

I've read something about an other common key.
I need this info for my WIT project.

I would like to, but I cannot get wit to run... (running under Windows)

I load up the command prompt, and whenever I type "wit ", it does nothing for about a second, then returns to the command prompt...

cannotrunwit.jpg

When I told it to output a log, the resulting log was 0 bytes...

Could this be a problem with Windows or cygwin maybe?

It should work bit I don't know what cygwin does with the pattern "[K]". ( [..] means one of that characters.)

Please enclose the iso name in double quote "..." or rename the iso image.

Instead of redirecting the output with > you can first open a command window and then typing the command

EDIT
... or say TLoZ*.iso

EDIT 2:
There is a bug: No error message if the file isn't found or invalid.

Thanks. I will try that.

EDIT: Nope, did the same thing. also tried renaming the iso file to zelda.iso, but I do not think it is the filename though. I tried "wit help" and same thing happened...

I have been using cmdhere powertoy to open cmd within the working directory in the previous attemps.

This time, I ran cmd and navigated to the working directory myself and tried "wit help >a.txt", and same thing...

I assume something else may be interfering?
I have MinGW on my computer as part of the devkitPro Windows installation. Could this maybe be interfering?
EDIT: ran the devkitPro uninstaller, killing off MinGW, and... still the same thing...

Is Wiiscrubber using the Korean Common key?

IIRC, Wiimm posted that Korean support was not added until beta 2 of 1.15a.
...could you please try "Wit dump ackor.iso" with the (currently) latest beta wit-v1.15a.beta4-r1544-cygwin?
(I would, but I cannot get it running, and I am curious about it.)

@damysteryman
Have you more than one cygwin1.dll installed in your system? My tools are compiled against a version of 12.4.2010 with 2 608 311 bytes. And I always put the dll in the same directory as wit/wwt.

And yes, it's right: For korean support you need the most current beta.

Hmmm... I may have more than one copy floating around.

I will search for all instances of cygwin1.dll and kill all but the one you suplied with wit.
(computer is slow, may take a while...)

why do you want to use this version so badly? the latest version of wit should have the exact same support for korean games.
