I plan to try using ntrboot to install CIA on my 3ds. It is possible for me to accidentally brick my 3ds while trying to install CIA, so I want to make a sysnand back up. However, all methods I found online require Luma(CIA) already installed. I want to make a nand backup before modding my 3ds. Can I make a backup of my nand without installing CIA? If so, how?

I guess it's no need to backup ur nand before install CFW,cuz ntrboot is an safe mode to CFW the 3ds

Btw,ntrboot can unbrick ur 3ds,so,it's pointless to do it,years ago,only Decrypt9(I think) could backup ur nand on homebrew,but u'll take longer to do it instead of just CFW and backup ur nand after that

    @SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that

    I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
