Hey all, I'm going to be getting a CycloDS, and want to know if a 1gig card will hold all my roms. I will never have more than ~80 roms at the same time, and will never have music, but I want some homebrew. What are my options? Thanks.

Oh, really? I've got MKDS, THAS, AWDS, YIDS, Electroplankton, and many other games I imagine would take up a lot of space. But I guess I'll go for 2 gigs just to be safe. Thanks.

On average, 25 for 1gig, 50 for 2gig. This assumes you trim the ROMs and don't have any sort of multimedia on the card.

The types of games you like can alter the averages too. If you mainly like RPG's, which tend to be larger ROMs, you will get less games on the card, than if you like say.....action games, which tends to be smaller ROMs.

Pretty much it. I have a 1gb card, and 25 games plus a few homebrew on it right now. No MP3s, no pics yet.
It's a bit annoying, I was rather used to having 2 gigs on my SCSD.
