I’m not sure if that’s accurate as ODM 6 is also used for anti downgrade and some of the other ODMs are used while some are currently unused:

Note: I haven’t done any calculations.
ODM5, 6 and 7 don't contain anything and aren't write protected, so all of them could be used theoretically. Each have 32 fuses, for a total of 96.

no. and the switch will most likely never have every fuse used. its been 3 years and a lot of major updates since release, and theres been less than 15 fuses burnt.
If they're smart no. They can just set that all burned as a check, if not, they just burn all the fuses and continue booting.
You could burn all 128 writable ODM reserved fuses and the system would still be functional (although you'd need a modified CFW to boot)
So no. Them not being burnt isn't needed for anything.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -
