Gaming How do you install kexts in OSX?

I've installed iAtkos v7 on my Lenovo X61 and I'm wondering how you install kexts for drivers (such as display brightness). I've tried using Kext Helper but it doesn't seem to work for some weird reason, since the desired effects still don't work after supposed installation.

If anyone can write out or point out any easy step-by-step guides, that'd be great
