you will not be able to play .avi files using an ak2i. however, you could play xvid encoded avi files using Tuna viDS. expect only about 12 fps.

Any sort of playing would most likely require conversion. You can use DPGTools (comes with Moonshell last I checked) to convert your video files to DPG and then use Moonshell (homebrew) to watch them.

You can't play that certain vid format. Use DPG and moonshell.

Something I forgot to mention is that the files convert .avi to .dpg, allowing the videos to be played on MoonShell.

Yeah forgot to mention that. My favorite one was AviConvert . I think it came with moonshell
