It doesn't work. It's really dried out, and won't come off.

Take a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol on it and set it on top of the part with thermal paste on it. Leave it there for an hour or so. That should soften it up some.

The best stuff ever. Rubbing alcohol aint got shit on this stuff. Even with stuff that just will not come off by any other means, a few drops of this stuff and it is instantly dissolved.
