Alright, folks. I've got this old school Gamecube AR disk, version 1.08, still have the memory card 'n all. Got it at Wally World on sale years ago and it has served me well for many years.
Back in the day it worked fine on my Wii, could use codes to my heart's delight. Until one of those darn firmware updates, at least.
Now when I put the disk in it's all "Ew, I don't want that, gross, eject that monstrosity!"
I've tried loading it with Gecko. Doesn't work. Just sits there forever saying it's loading.
My Wii is version 4.2 and I haven't done a system update since.
I would really, really like to be able to use AR codes on my Gamecube games. Am I just gonna have to buy an old Gamecube to use my AR, or can I download some kind of homebrew that can enable the disk to work or at least somehow allow me to use AR codes on GC Games?
It's just a pain to play Harvest Moon: Magical Melody without infinite stamina. If you've ever played it, you KNOW the stamina system sucks.
Any help for this baffled gamer girl would be greatly appreciated! :"D
