Ok so I have a great question how do most of you guys install their games?

Also do you use your tf memory in FAT32 or exFat?

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

since i switched to fat32 usb installs fail. but i haven't had anything to install for a while so now i don't know what i'll do.

HBGShop/modified tinfoil and occasionally usb install or split nsp since I'm on fat32

I've just been using SX Installer + SX Server with USB install which is effectively the same thing as blawar's Tinfoil + Nut server. I was confused by the amount of different title installers and forks of them and which one to use so I just went with SX Installer as I found Goldleaf to be too limited.
FAT32 of course, I don't want to risk corrupting my SD card if I don't have to.

What are you using for USB installs? I know SX Installer (and by extension blawar's Tinfoil) can install large games over USB on a FAT32 card just fine but you're not the first person I've heard of having this issue.

i was using tinfoil on atmosphere. i also tried reinx. i haven't attempted in a long time tho, so maybe this issue has resolved itself.

USB Install Fluffy/Tinfoil Fat32.

Ever since i switched to Fat32, usb install is ungodly slow. It was 25mb-33mb a second.

Now it jumps from 1mb-12mb a second.
I'd go back to Exfat, but...eh.

GoldLeaf 0.5 plus splitNSP on a FAT32 file system.
I had stayed on firmware 6.2 but updated it to 7.0.1 last week, to ease the installation of newer games and updates.

Goldleaf and Goldtree [for PCs], USB install and fat32 MicroSD. Works like a charm, no need to split anything and fast transfers.
