ROM Hack How come Pokemon Platinum cheats don't show in the cheat compilati

The CHEAT.DAT from the cheat database doesn't have Pokemon Platinum cheats?

The Gamelist there does list Pokemon Platinum (U), but the 'cheat' tab doesn't appear for the game.

Is it because I'm using an R4? Other games have the tabs, but few like Dragon Quest V (which was patched), WarioWare Touched! and Pokemon Platinum don't have it.

Yes, it's because you have an R4. The R4 firmware cannot manage a large cheat database correctly.

To fix it you can either use R4CCE to delete every game in the list that you will never need cheats for or use the YSMenu custom firmware.

ahhhhh stop

first try installing narins R4 patch, that usually fixes it. if that doesnt work then go back to what the other guy said
