Hacking How can i unbrick my wii with boot mii

Hey guys
I have a problem.
A friend bricked his Wii and only Bootmii and the HBC worked. So he formated his SD Card an out teh data back on the SD Card. Now only Bootmii works but not the HBC.. He has no nand backup..
How can he fix his Wii?

When he tried to start the HBC or System Menu bootmii only restart.
He said he had a really old System Menu 2.4 or something like that

Yeah it's my wii actually. (i just registered)
So the problem is that only bootmii works.
When i try to click on Wii system menu or HBC the screen just goes blank not even a black screen. ( i can restart or shutdown the wii with the buttons tho)
And i cant boot files with the SD manager if i try it just goes back to the bootmii menu.
My Firmware is 2.4

Try looking into cBoot2. Use it to run wad manager and install a system menu wad along with it's IOS.

I updated the bootmii and hbc like 1 month ago.

then when i got it back it's like it is now but the hbc worked first
