As someone with a modded 2ds xl, i can easily download trendsetters through styling star. But for some reason, the very first style savvy is not so easily downloaded (i.e. not through hshop). I know the first style savvy is played differently then all the others, like a book, so maybe that's why its not so easily downloadable? Idk, but ive been binging trendsetters all summer through now and I really wanna try out the very first game.

Can i Get the first styling savvy on my 2ds, or will i have to play it on pc?

It just means it's not up on that one 3DS program yet, try finding a .cia elsewhere.

it's not a 3ds game. you'll have to install twilightmenu to play the ds rom with nds bootstrap, or you can make forwarders that install as .cia on home menu that will also play the game through nds bootstrap

Haha, it's okay, you're not missing out much if you browse here often. :P

The flash carts for the Switch seem fairly crude at the moment.

That reminds me, what's a good flashcart for the 3DS?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Kirbydogs, I think it was the sky3ds but im not sure since I never had a 3ds flashcard

@anotherthing, I'm not surprised. The original DS carts all used the same hardware from over a decade ago. DSTTi and Ace3DS+.

Like that runs 3DS games? Or just one that does everything under a 3DS.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@anotherthing, Nope. The ones that I had mentioned only does DS games only, but you can still buy new Stargate 3DS carts from AliExpress which can do all three.

@anotherthing anything that can work with a DS as well is fine, although if there are any 3DS- nvm

It doesn't run 3DS games, but I really like the Ace3DS X at the moment.

    @anotherthing, The Stargate 3DS?
  • A @ anotherthing:
I may have to check out the Stargate 3DS. I was hoping the EX Flash Parallel was going to do something, but it seems they just kind of pumped and dumped it.
  • A @ anotherthing:
EZ Flash, not EX Flash. Heh.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@anotherthing, Yeah, I never liked the EZ-Flash Parallel due to how buggy the kernel is, and the fact that you can permanently brick it with one game.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It's now on deals for $14 on AliExpress. Clear as to why because nobody is buying them.
  • A @ anotherthing:
The only thing it really has going for it is that it's sturdy.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Sturdiness and the quality of the hardware. They could've done it a bit better honestly.

Which is crazy, because the EZ Flash Omega cartridges for the GBA are pretty nice.

Silkscreen values for the components could've been smaller to line up, perhaps they were filling up the blank space, or something to do with regulations in regards to PCB manufacturing. There are certain design rules that you had to follow.

@anotherthing, The Omega DE is a lot more improved over the first Omega cart. Best to get it instead of the original Omega, it has a few problems.
  • A @ anotherthing:
By the way, they're $24 on their web site. The Parallel is.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
That's quite sad. Not sure if I feel bad for the people who bought it if they didn't do the research before-hand. A well built flashcart like an Acekard 2i or M3 DS Real could last for a lifetime.
