I'm gonna format my SD card, thus I will have to delete all my games. However, I want to make a backup of the saves so I can restore them after the SD card format. How can I do that with Checkpoint?

You don't need to delete the games. Copy the stuff from your sd card to your pc, format the card and copy the stuff back or move it back to the card.
Yes, well, the thing is that I'm formatting my SD card because I believe an unknown portion of the files in it are corrupted, so I wanted only the save files for keeping the risk of getting files corrupted again at a minimum . However, I just backed up the save files with checkpoint, copied the "saves" folder located in 3ds/checkpoint and then I put it back to its place when the format was done and it worked like a charm! Checkpoint recognized the saves and restored them successfully, thanks! :)
