Hacking Homebrew Channel Doesnt load on 1.0.3

My friends wii, i updated the homebrew channel but than it doesnt load
its just a black screen
I deleted it, and installed it again but this time it was the lower version

so it seems if i update it doesnt work anymore

any fix for this ?

try the newest hackmii installer and re-install the newest HBC

the 1.0.3 is the newest version i think that i installed and is giving me a black screen
but yea i did install the newest version

most of the time it wont load because it messing its IOS, normally just re-installing it through the hackmii installer will fix this problem cause it lets the HBC choose a different IOS to run off of. If that doesn't work i have no clue

hmm i reinstalled it but still nothing

if youre not on system menu 4.0 try using wiiscu(from wiibrew) to download and install ios38/60/61
then use hackmii installer to uninstall and reinstall hbc
see if that fixes it.

I got it working
i was on 3.2 and i used waninkos 4.0 updater
and then updated homebrew and now it loads perfectly

Im on 3.2 and after installing ios 12 & 36 hbc 1.03 installed and worked perfectly so there was no need to install 4.0 but if it works and your happy then thats good :-)

you dont have to be on system menu 4.0. but the new hbc uses ios61 and alot of people are having problems with the black screen error. maybe theres some issue on falling back to another ios if ios61 isnt installed.
