Is there something like this that already exists?

I am aware using things like Wiiload you can send your Wii elfs or dols directly, but I dont think this works with things like USBLoader which require images as well.

i'm tired of constantly pulling the sd card out and going downstairs to update an app and going back upstairs to put it back in the wii

i would love to find out a way to use SMB to load apps over the network

I think WiiXplorer has SMB feature so you could copy the app of choice folder from your PC to your Wii without removing SD card.

use ftpii to have ftp access to your sd or homebrew browser to download updates and new apps, they work just fine.

wiixplorer also turns the wii into an ftp server, you can use an ftp client on your pc to drag and drop files to your sd or usb
