Does NTRBOOT with magnet and flash card still work on 11.6? I'm asking because I'm gonna be doing a 3DS for a friend on Friday.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I'm guessing it's still safe to update if you are using a9lh and luma 7.1?
Yes, but there's no point on staying with A9LH and an old crusty Luma version...

before all the is it safe to update crap comes:
IT IS SAFE TO UPDATE
proof if your still worried

EDIT: homebrew launcher payloads have been patched for now
Reinand still works ?!

nothing is broken
*hax payloads that worked on 11.5 reportedly works on 11.6 too

NTRBoothax works
Luma works
Rosalina works
Loading HB with Rosalina works.
Ok then, I'm set. But can we still use a magnet+flash cart to install NTRBOOT on an 11.6 unhacked system?

Rei6?
What ?
I am testing out the name "Rei#," Rei6 in case to see how the community takes to it. I am trying to help create a better name for ReiNAND.

Reinand still works ?!
ReiNAND still works and there's even going to be a new version released

There's never going to be an OFW update that will effect NTRBoot, as NTRBoot is a bootrom exploit. The only way for Nintendo to fix NTRBoot is through a hardware update to replace the bootrom.

A new version ?
OH BOY

Is there any point of using rei6 (name will catch up, for sure) if we're on Luma 8.1.1?
It's more so for those who want a minimalistic CFW and nothing more. If that tickles your fancy then it's for you. If not, that's fine too, we aren't completing with Luma3DS.

How about just Rei CFW.

Like how ReiNAND forked and became Luma CFW.

Besides the fancy new Rosalina Menu and the options menu when holding Select, what will ReiNAND not come with that Luma does?

In the US the property taxes is always recurring, it never stops. Unlike when buying something, you only have to pay sales tax once. Not so for property, you have to keep paying for it for the rest of your life or for as long as you own the property.
Not sure how it is possible to not pay for a house, let alone a ground. You need a ground to support a house, without a ground your house will fall into an abyss. Unless you're renting, well that a whole different situation in this case. Otherwise I don't fallow what you're saying. As for the service, well that is also an issue in my state.
Also a house is an object as well, so you made a contradictory statement.
It makes sense really, you are paying for things like roads and infrastructure that supports you living there. I'm sure it's universal. Eg https://www.revenue.act.gov.au/rates
