To add insult to injury, technically Nintendo owns the software inside the system.... so your actually committing vandalism of their own code (Presuming when we talk property, where also talking digital property, btw, you don't own any of your games either. Has it? As far as I know the updated modules haven't been reverse engineered to determine the changes yet. It is still quite possible that they added additional data collection code in preparation for another ban wave. Think about it, why would they have a stability update that doesn't even fix any exploits (*hax payloads still work, ntr "cfw" still works, luma still works.

Well they did patch/change the eshop and some of the spotpass stuff so it is possible that this update is to let them collect more data for another larger banwave. It just seems suspicious to me, to do a "stability" update and not patch any exploits/hacks.
