HENkaku offline hacks coming soon

According to a tweet from resident Vita hacker Yifan Lu, soon the HENkaku exploit will be able to be launched offline by simply opening an email. There is no word of release as of yet, but it is confirmed that it will only support firmware 3.60.

Henkaku isn't available for 3.67, though.

I am not saying about Henkaku for 3.57. You type 67. I know what you mean, lol. Only 3.50 and below for an exploit files to enable it: World of Pool, Ape Escape: On the lost and etc. I already know that. :)

If you're refering to the ePSP exploits, then it's not such a big deal. I usually keep my Vita in sleep mode anyway so I've not had to install Henkaku in around a week, but we do have VHBL which can be used offline.
It's only a matter of time before a full ePSP kernel exploit appears.

And how would you run the installed .vpk without first triggering the exploit with either the browser or mail exploit?

Okay I see what you are saying. In that case just run the browser or email exploit once and then install the vpk and launch henkaku from the vita, no need to do anything else in order to keep using henkaku.

Edit: any time you turn on the vita all you would need to do is launch henkaku from the vpk.

That's actually one more step that what we're already doing.

There is no way around the fact that we need to trigger the exploit in some way first, either by using the current browser exploit or by using the proposed offline mail exploit. This is because the exploit presumably modifies data in RAM, which gets lost when you power down.

You wouldn't be able to launch the vpk without first triggering the exploit.
