Hacking HELPPPPPPPPPP WII 2.0J

I have WII with version 2.0J and mod chip. The optical drive is mot working. It fails to rad original disks and backup. I have tried to use bannerbomb to install HBC but when I start the process the system freez.

Any idea how to over come this issue?

ANy help will be appriciated!!!

Connect to the Internet update to 4.2J

Do the simplistic mod in the stickies.

Use a USB Loader too run games. Or buy a new DVD drive off the web.

So is it safe to upgrade? has anyone has the same problem before?

What modchip is it?

How old is the wii? Do you play the wii a lot? It could just be your laser is failing.

and Also do NOT update to 4.2j.

Well unfortunatly the official Nintendo 4.2 isn´t so safe at all because they overwrite boot2 in a not so safe way.
So best would be to use the waninkoko firmware updater i think.

Sounds like you need to either get a new DVD drive or use a USB loader

update it officially trough nintendo and hope it fails...send your wii to nintendo and they will maybe fix your dvd drive
