Hacking Help with which exact firmware I need

I've looked through the FAQ and various related pages but I'm still not entirely clear on what I need to have on my card. I have a DSTT card. Do I simply download the most recent RetroGameFan firmware and work away with that or should I/do I need to use Wood or YSMenu instead? Sorry for the basic question and thanks for any answers

you're confusing Kernel And Firmware !!!

RGF give KERNEL
Firmware = Give compatibility with DSi in 1.4.3E and firmware come from ndstt.com

The last Kernel is on the top of this section, in the RGF thread
The last firmware is the 1.4.3E for DSTTi
