ROM Hack Help with converting dls and midi to original sound

I'm stuck on ripping DS music in its original format, I'm using the latest VGMTrans [ver. 2/9/09] and I am able to extract dls and midis from sseq. But what do I do next? Am I suppose to combine the dls and midi together? I'm very lost at this point and I just want to listen to the original music format in a wave format. Any help would be appreciated

there is a codec for winavi you can download to convert to .wav...
I thought vgm could output .wav though...
so get the codec and you will be fine.

Find a MIDI program that supports DLS. There should be several of them.

Awave Studio does the job for me - converts them into .RMI files which I then load into Impulse Tracker. Once in Impulse Tracker, I use one of its menu options to remove the unused samples before saving it out as an .IT file.

Just use winamp!
Set in the sound settings the plugin to "Nullsoft Disk Writer"
And it'll write EVERY format to way within seconds!

So...you dont need to listen the complete song to record it!
That's the fastest way, you won't find a faster way...
