Hacking Help with a PSP 1001

Hey guys. So, I hacked a friend's PSP a couple of weeks ago. Everything was running smooth and nicely until a few days ago. His little sister was playing in it and she says she turned it down to go do something else. When she tried to turn it back up, it didn't boot. Whenever I try to turn it on, the POWER indicator lights up, but I don't get any sound or image, or anything for that matter. I tried turning it on only with the charger plugged, without the battery, but still no response. I removed the MemoryStick, tried using my battery, even tried pandorizing one of the batteries, but still no luck. Wondering if anyone could lend me a hand towards what I can do to try to fix it. All the info I can give you is that it's a PSP 1001, with custom fw 6.20 PRO, hacked by myself. It's using a 4Gb SanDisk Memory stick, but I doubt knowing that may be usefull at all.

sounds like you need need to buy a pandora battery, i would suggest googling it

I tried using one that I created with HellCat's Recovery Flasher. Do a softmodded and a hardmodded Pandora work differently??

No, did ypu make the magic memory card too?

Tried recovery mode. It just turns off after 5 or so seconds.
How do I make a magic memory card?? I was searching here, but all I was able to find was Proto's guide to hacking using a pandora battery, so not sure if doing that may actually work, as the PSP won't even boot.

The section on making the magic memory stick involves hooking it into a PC and using a program there, so you won't need your PSP for that part.
