ROM Hack Help to Export Sound fron this DS ROM

I'm completely new to this hacking and have problems when extracting a title theme from this game of nintendo ds, it is Ben 10 Protector of Earth I do not see the .sdat in the kiwi.ds I only find the file sound.bin and xfc.bin also the vgmtrans do not open the rom, What do I do to export? or some other method that you can provide me?

I want to use the Midi for a GBA ben 10 Hackrom, I take the opportunity to ask if I can use DS midis in GBA

Most DS games use the SDAT format but there are some exceptions, quite often within these cartoon tie in games and smaller games.
https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-various-audio-formats-of-the-ds.305167/ has some more, though maybe nothing on the format here.

For the most part I find the formats are either DS style wave formats or high level formats. However I have seen proper custom formats as well so it is not assured that you will get an easy to handle one. I should also say if it is wave type format then converting it to midi for use with the GBA will be near impossible, which also discounts simply ripping the audio from the game somehow. Watching a video I don't see anything obvious that tells me it has to be wave type formats but I would not be surprised if it is.

To do much more I would need to get the game and have a look, something I lack the time to do right now.

As far as converting it for use in a GBA if you do end up with a midi (something you can kind of do with SSEQ stuff on the DS) then you might be able to -- the DS has a lot more channels than the GBA so that could get in the way of some things. However there are paths to insert custom midi into GBA games (fire emblem hacking involves a fair bit of it).
