because nobody ever had a 1:1 ration tv screen, they had 3:4, 16:10 or 16:9. Retro consoles WERE stretched. Playing these games at 1:1 ratio looks wrong, the image is too thin.

And on that point, has anyone found a way to stretch the snes vc games?
I just don't think it works on a wide screen like a 3DS. It worked on older TVs with square screens... but it looks bad on wide screens.

Kirby Super Star is the ideal choice. Fits both of those requirements.

Kirby is lorom, I found the value for the SA1 games but not work, show in the lower screen the vc options but the game dont run. With DSP1 happened the same (for not legit games) but only with lorom games the hirom games works well.

when i open banner.cgfx after renaming it, I only have common 1 and common 5
Common 1: the one i changed
and Common 5: a tiny, black square-d texture..
open it with ohana3ds from ba-GUI-nnertool v2.01 and you will see (no need to rename to cgfx ohana3ds can read bcmdl)

From what I remember, all SA-1 games are lorom.
