    Hey guys, just wondering something.

i have a DATEL Personal Media Player card. it goes in slot-1
then it loads stuff from the 1gbuilt-in slot-2 card.

i am able to run moonshell, and some other homebrew apps.
just it wont load .gba or my real .nds rom backups.

Is there a way to patch the rom so it works with this?

    Thanks.

No Datels products are crap. If you have a slot 2 that can play GBA files you can use rudolph's tool to launch GBA files from it. If your slot 2 can play NDS backups then it should work without the help of Datel's product. What slot 2 do you own?

AFAIK Datel products cannot play rom backups of any kind. Only media and homebrew.

well apprently thats true and untrue.

it runs homebrew.. aka SNEmulDSv emulator.. and it loads the roms.

so far i got gbc, and snes games, not too bad for a crap card so far, till my dstt comes in lol

Ya, get a real flash cart. The DSTT is pretty good but what you are talking about it launching SNES and GBC roms that is technically the emulators launching them not the actual cart so no, I repeat one more time, DATEL'S PRODUCTS SUCK and can't launch pirated ROMs.

i'm not sure if it'd work w/the PMP, but there is a patcher called MaxOverload that works(somewhat) for the Datel MaxMediaDock

Yeah, I've never even heard of the Datel Personal Media Player, but it sounds more like the Max Media Player than the Games'n'Music card, so go have a look for the MaxOverload loader app and that should let you play a lot of commercial NDS files, though not all.

Assuming that the Datel PMP is similar to the Max Media Player and hence also the GBAMP, then that means it won't be able to play commercial GBA ROMs no matter what. GBA homebrew for multiboot might work, though.

Datel's products don't suck, they're just not made for piracy, so pirates won't find them very useful.
